Job Description:

Responsibilities: Managing the warehouse functions to insure timely & accurate loading of product on trucks to meet sales/customer’s specifications, routing requirements and accurate inventory. Supervises, trains, motivates, schedules and manage performance of material handlers. Provides safety training and insures safe work practices and operational compliance with OSHA/DOT regulations/employment laws. Administers and enforces all company policies/procedures. Insures efficient, safe, cost-effective operation of the shift and coordination with first shift operations.
Satisfies customer needs and shift briefings effectively, interact with other branch employees, supervisors and office staff. May be asked to perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Relevant Work/Industry Experience:
Demonstrated leadership, coaching & interpersonal skills; problem solving/analytical skills, computer proficiency; oral communication/listening skills. Prefer automated routing experience.

Strong logistics/warehousing knowledge; working knowledge of DOT/OSHA regulations & forklifts; knowledge of WES and cycle counting; able to motivate multiple direct reports; able to prioritize tasks & effect responsive decisions. Strong knowledge of building products preferred, good time-management skills.


Education:
HS/GDE; some college preferred. 3 plus years leadership experience in building products and/or warehousing.
