Job Description:
Bancroft NeuroHealth is dedicated to fostering the highest quality of life for people of all ages with neurological disorders, including developmental disabilities and acquired brain injuries.
Bancroft has direct care openings for individuals who want to learn to help adults with neurological disorders. Our openings are located at the Walker Center at Bancroft in the Philadelphia, PA area.
Responsibilities include:
*Participate actively in the learning experiences and life growth of each individual within the program area
*Provide for the individual care, supervision and safety of our persons served.
*Act as a role model for the residents and carry out the specific responsibilities of advocate.
*Deal well with various types of problem behaviors (e.g., aggression, self-injury, etc.)
*Implement behavioral assessment/treatment plans
We are seeking candidates who have:
*High School Diploma or GED *Bachelor's degree or pursuing bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, and related fields, preferred. *Experience with DD/MR or brain injury populations is preferred but not required. *Valid driver's license without restrictions *Clean Criminal Background *Must be able to provide a minimum of (2) Professional References

**Full-time, part-time, and substitute positions available. Must be able to work WEEKENDS and EVENINGS. Overnight shifts sometimes available.
